after downloading latest version of adobe reader why cant still open application adobe reader

hi ,

 

could please explain more issue?

what os work on?

what happens when click on pdf?

you try opening them right clicking on them , choosing 'open'.

are able launch reader?

if possible try update reader.

if nothing of above works,try uninstalll reader downloading cleaner tool(for windows only).

download adobe reader , acrobat cleaner tool - adobe labs

 

you refer following link reinstall reader.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
