Older Photoshop won't load! Help!

2010 mac crashed (osx 10.9.5). had erase software. re-entered cs2 photoshop. wouldn't load. had had many upgrades. hoping not have buy another.

cs2 (and earlier) activation server replacement software... note cs2 not install @ on "modern" mac

Maximum number of authorizations reached!
