Unable to connect to authorisation server

like awful lot of other people here, i'm unable authorise laptop.  error saying can't connect server , check internet connection.  tried chat line, clueless , sent me here.  can see whole bunch of people same issue , no replies.  i'm using version 4.5 on windows 7 machine.

 

at least spent few hotel loyalty points on book, read it.  i'm not getting vibes , never use software again. 

get error message no connection server or has error message start e_auth....?

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
