Suddenly OCR does not work like before the update

suddenly ocr not give me same results before update...i have done text recognition on same document did before update, not recognize text...does else have problem?

sorry see you're running issue. please share couple of details

- current version of acrobat

- whether os windows or mac

- able perform ocr on other documents? if same document used ocr'd before can't ocr'd after october update, possible email small part (say page) of document me, @ apuri@adobe.com. diagnose , resolve problem in fastest possible way.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!! (if have installed arm , delete it, will, on "check updates nothing or common update error ) you nonsense: acrobat updates have been disabled system policy.   error: 100700 if installer ...
