Click to open a webpage

hello, new site. learning how code simple apps desktop. 

 

here problem, want be able click link , bring user separate webpage in external window. can using following code simply,

 

button_1.addeventlistener(mouseevent.click, fl_clicktogotowebpage_2);

 

 

function fl_clicktogotowebpage_2(event:mouseevent):void

{

  navigatetourl(new urlrequest("http://www.google.com"), "_blank");

}

 

but user see webpage. ie not in chrome load of other tabs, possible?

 

one way can think may work load build swf containing webpage want display , deploy library havent been able work sadly.

 

any appreciated. 

in general, no cannot control users browser.  there exceptions, there's more 1 reason not try.
