How do I update 5.7 to 6.x (Windows)

sorry if question dumber dirt, have lightroom 5.7 on windows, says no new updates available.  can tell me how 6.x?  i've looked on adobe site , in cc account (i have digital photography plan) don't see helpful (and not sound passive aggressive here why isn't "update" button every other software on planet...?).  when log in creative cloud account, can find download trial, doesn't tell me version.  should download , run installer, or nuke settings , catalog , make me registration dance of infinite pain on again (again, sorry sound passive aggressive but....i am)?  appreciated!  best, david

make sure system meets minimum requirements updating lightroom 6.x

it should 64bit machine

 

system requirements adobe lightroom mac , windows os

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
