I'm working in win 8.1 on a HP Elitebook 840 G with Intel i7 CPU, havin it's integrated GPU 4400. But this laptop also have a dedicated GPU, AMD Radeon HD 8750M. My question is why isn't it shoing in Lightroom 6?

greetings.

  • first of install latest graphics card divers
  • once done restart computer , see if lr shows amd graphics card or not
    • if not try steps mentioned below(see screen shot)
  • close adobe applications , right click on desktop screen , click on amd catalyst control center
  • now add lr manually.
    • click on add, go location c:\program files\adobe\adobe lightroom , lightroom.exe (mine installed in location, yours might different)

  • click apply , open lr , check if picking amd graphics card.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
