Just downloaded & installed the TRIAL version of Premiere Elements 14 & opened a VLC Media Player clip/snippet of a video. I can see the video in the file bin/timeline; but, when i press the play icon & was rolling, there's no video or audio.

do need download & install additional filter or files play these kinds of audio/video files?  kind help.   

depends on specs of video you're trying edit. (viewing in player not same processing in editor.)

 

open 1 of video clips you're trying edit in media info or g spot , note resolution, frame rate and, above all, audio , video codecs listed.

if video came camcorder, let know model of camcorder , settings video shot @ (resolution, frame rate, format, etc.).

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
