save for web = different size artboard. Ideas?

ok weird one.

 

i bought vector... seems have been created symbol @ beginning no longer linked symbol of course.

open , 9-scale slicing warning...

 

changed artboard size reduce background around actual vector...

ctrl+alt+shift+s , resulting image has larger artboard original... vector seems same (eg. margin around vector different should be)

 

any ideas???

 

(additionally, while trying work these specific vectors in other compilations crashed illustrator every time - not use alt+ duplicate artboards)
