Adding and editing a anchor point while drawing

i know in photoshop can add anchor point between 2 anchor points while still drawing pen tool, hold down ctrl/cmd key edit anchor points , it's handles. when try ia, selection tool rather direct selection tool. there way in ia?

you can click want added anchor point, can ctrl/cmdclickdrag either/each handle adjust them; , while ctrl/cmdclickdragging handle, can press spacebar , ctrl/cmdclickdrag move anchor point about, let go of spacebar , continue adjusting handle, , forth.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
