AE 2015 Hangs on Initializing MediaCore

after effects 13.5.1 hangs on launch @ least 7 minutes (probably more). looks stuck on initializing mediacore.

 

i have searched bit on subject , have gone firewall , enabled of .exe files current version of ae. there because have used system through several versions of ae there several versions of many of files. assume ae 2015 needs have exe files enabled in firewall in 2015 folders (for ae , premiere), correct?

 

i read need "remove third-party quicktime importers , exporters library/quicktime directory , restart application." quick search on library/quicktime directory indicates mac file/folder location. searched quicktime folder in program files , couldn't find relent.

 

this issue has come in last week , premiere pro hanging in same way, although don't see initializing mediacode readout in premiere pro launch window. has hiker/daniel son pre-crane kick pose guy.

 

the change system made pointed premiere pro new 3-rd party audio plugs. when did so, premiere worked fine days. use ae projects 40-60 hours week, sucks.

win 7 64bit (up date)

i7 970

24gb ram

nvidia 970gtx (driver date)

500gb ssd

2tb internal

2 x 4tb internal

3tb internal

16tb raid 5 via usb 3.0

usb 2.0 , 3.0 drives

firewire audio device (m-audio firewire1814)... although, not using playback. connected.

 

what shall try next? have not updated ae latest version because looks change photo raw. hesitant update since cc 2015 update/nightmare.

sad say, didn't avoid ae cc 2015 nightmare.  you're running it... or trying to.  need install ae cc 2014 because when ran thought update new version... , new version deletes previous versions!

 

wasn't thoughtful of adobe?
