Why can I no longer import different .avi files (rendered in exactly the same format) into the same Sequence in PP?

i've in past been able put short .avi movies / animations, , cut them importing them same sequence in premiere pro create transitions , sync audio etc.

 

as of last week, can't drag new video files onto sequence / timeline, if rendered .avi files in same format used in said sequence. whhhhhy? have changed something?

Maximum number of authorizations reached!
