why do i need internet access to use lightroom?

why need internet access use lightroom? when go on photo job , want tethered capture laptop, creative cloud asks me internet/wireless access, don't have , can't use app.

thank goodness have older version of lightroom on computer or else screwed , embarrased in front of client.

anybody can me this?

Maximum number of authorizations reached!
