How do I copy a clip from one project to another?

how copy clip 1 project another?   looking create "highlights" family video copying , pasting edited clips multiple projects 1 new project.  using premiere elements 13 on mac os 10.10.5.   thanks!

if using windows computer, might explore clipmate copy/paste insert between projects. not.

 

consequently consider exporting timeline content selectively file saved computer, keeping project settings , export settings consistent.

 

for selective export approach, there 2 must does...

1. set gray tabs of work area bar span segment exported

and

2. make sure enable share work area bar option in export settings.
