What type of processor should I get in new computer?

while shopping new computer, salesman told me computer i5 processor slow work captivate , need i7.  have experience this?

there lot more factors processor. prefer i7 on i5, users have i3. captivate memory hungry, ram important well. heavy on graphics, if possible dedicated graphics card (nvidia works nice other adobe applications). if budget supports please have ssd @ least applications, starts quickly. last question: used have open several applications @ same time? have photoshop , audition (sometimes illustrator) open captivate

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
