Hiding a red fence on a panoramic footage ?

so i've got footage :

 

 

(original 1080p 25 i/s)

 

i remove, or hide, @ least, big flashy red fence in background. i've tried desaturate red colors applyed following mask doesn't seem natural. experts ?

what experts ?

 

i wouldn't use shot. it's less ideal not because of fence. it's shot against sun , has whiteout , there's extreme lens distortion caused cranking lens zoom limits. it's not good. otherwise desaturation approach should give leeway , might find photo of more bushes can put in front, if there tiniest possibility, consider reshoot under better conditions , better camera usage.
