I'm using a MacBook Pro, Chrome Browser and latest FP download. When a FP video is on the video works fine. I just can't get the Closed Captions to work. The 'CC' box shows it's 'OFF'. Clicking on the OFF doesn't turn it ON. What am I doing wrong?

this first time i've used forum i'm not doing right, here goes anyway.  i'm using macbook pro, chrome browser , latest flash player download.  when have flash player video on video works fine.  can't closed captions work.  i've tried 'cc' box , says it's 'off'.  if click on 'off' can't turn on.  ideas i'm doing wrong?  thanks   howard

if want provide link video reproduces problem, i'd happy take look.  otherwise, i'm guessing.

 

that said, flash player isn't video player.  process code written in actionscript , render stuff screen.  video player you're interacting built (or bought) content developer, there's not closed-caption feature in flash itself.  guess not content on provider's site offers captioning.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
