"Acrobat DC cannot be installed" because it is already installed. But it isn't. Nor has it been.

using windows 10 (also issue windows 7) on lenovo m series thinkcentre i7 cpu , 8gb ram.

 

(1) tried install creative cloud manager. result error message "acrobat dc can't installed. acrobat dc cannot installed. update acrobat dc uninstall existing version of acrobat."

 

(2) in creative cloud manager, beside update button acrobat dc, there manage application dropdown button. button gives me opportunity uninstall program. if run that, on manager's banner says uninstalling acrobat x (0%) on 1 second.

 

as there no version of acrobat dc listed in programs , features, uninstalled acrobat x. same result. in file explorer, in c:/program files/adobe, there no directory acrobat. in c:/program files (x32)/adobe/acrobat, there directory acrobat 10.0. thus, there no evidence acrobat dc every installed.

 

i have deleted acrobat 10.0 directory (as software uninstalled), , received same issues in (1) , (2).

 

please let me know how clean registry or perform other effort can acrobat running!
