With the recent upgrade, Lightroom is unstable and stops responding intermittently, what can I do to fix this?

it seems when long tasks exporting large number of images lightroom freezes.  i'm not quite sure if happens when screen saver comes on or there time period when occurs.   did not have problem before upgrade.  suggestions?

would suggest follow below steps :

1. go lightroom preferences > general > uncheck "show add photos screen"

2. lightroom preferences > performance > uncheck "use graphics processor"

3. relaunch lightroom , check again

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
