How do I stop getting an update reminder for 13.1?

i purchased , installed adobe photoshop elements 13 , premiere elements 13 in 1 package.  every single time open either program, page pops , interrupts me asking if want update elements 13.1 or upon closing elements.  won't allow me ignore window, won't allow me close window without making choice , i've answered question both ways , allowed 'do it's job'...i'm still getting asked...i'm sick of it, in fact think hate photoshop elements, i'm ready pitch , go old version... buying newer famfangled programs!

so how make stop?  called customer care, last weekend , couldn't me...told me call on monday...what?  really?  i'm dumbfounded.  can't call during week, i'm way busy sit @ computer fartin' around not important program.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
