Captivate 9 Dropdown list issue

looking help, i'm making dropdown list in regular (blank, not responsive) project.

 

the fill in blank dropdown option works, answer box small contain/display answer once it's been selected. overall box id plenty large enough, tried font size, entering/spacing options well, no luck.

 

thoughts?

my workaround have largest entry on top of list, , add blanks before first value.

Maximum number of authorizations reached!
