Copy and Paste is taking forever

every 5th or 6th time try copy , paste in timeline, beach ball minute before works.  else having this?  happens complex sequences or single video clips indiscriminately.

 

it happens on office system is:

latest imac (retina 5k, 27-inch, late 2014 4ghz i7 processor)

32gb of ram

running osx 10.10.5 (yosemite)

 

and not on home system, is

late 2013 imac

32 gb ram

osx 10.9.something (mavericks)

 

both on premiere cc 2015.0.2

Maximum number of authorizations reached!
