My creative cloud app is just spinning and opening. Illustrator keeps crashing before it even starts. Does anyone know wtf's up?

here known causes/cures:

it may wacommultitouch.framework. if so, remove framework folder: "<root drive>/library/frameworks"

you may remove clipboard enhancements

especially windows 10 may try download visual c++ redistributable visual studio 2012 update 4 microsoft,

then download , run vsu_4\vcredist_x86.exe,

then click repair, first suggested sama in post #10 here:

for crashing after updating, make sure updated, when switch new os yosemite

in 1 known case, suitcase fusion 5 (which had updated 6), wacom, , esko extensions, causing errors after update.

you may try reinstall using full 3 step way (otherwise strange things may linger):

1) uninstall (ticking box delete preferences),

2) run cleaner tool, see link below,

3) reinstall.

the cleaner tool works versions cs3 on (you can see @ top of page).
