Cannot find photos for Elements to load

i purchased , downloaded adobe elements am. spent 5+ hours yesterday cleaning icloud resident photos including eliminating on 1,000 duplicates or unwanted photos.

 

tried several hours , cannot locate folder photos stored. folder found has 14,000 photos indicated when elements scans it. on icloud , copied hard drive on desktop. how can find file on desktop point elements to...or can drag elements"

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
