Captivate 9 issue- Adobe Captivate could not open

when trying load cptx file saved on c drive- error code- adobe captivate not open "file name" ensure file not open, not damaged, hadr disk has ssufficient space etc. none of these factors true. have log off computer , restart computer , cptx item load. file not corrupted , have plenty of space. trying figure out going on?

can make copy .cptx , try opening it. in case if wont ,probably can try retrieving project cache folder following below set of instructions.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
