InDesign 2015 Very Frequent Crashing seems tied to physical text location in the document

this problem recreated on 5 machines (win 10 x3, win 8.1 , mac) - 3 staff sharing files.

 

we're seeing crashes innocuous events (trying insert page or column break - via either menu commands or keystrokes, or applying para styles -- again via styles menu or shortcuts).

 

program crashes, upon restart, attempts make adjustment text insert point crash occurs again. other edits can happen elsewhere in doc, spot seems hold corruption. we've tried lot of environment observation (what programs running elsewhere, machine set up, etc). can't see specific issue (one staffer called adode , solution downgrade 2014).

 

of course i'm perplexed issue, it's odd can't find footprint on web - i've got 3 people 3 different set ups encountering issues pretty reproduced. has else see this?

corrupt font perhaps?
