Premier Pro not installing properly

hi, trying install premier cc , seeing 2 issues. seems installing cs6 not cc (that's indicates on cc app. and, when cs6 done installing (without errors), can't find anywhere. , won't open cc app. shows greyed out "up date" notice right of pr icon.

any ideas? have tried uninstalling , reinstalling premier pro didn't help.

i'd suggest uninstalling cc desktop app , premiere pro using adobe's cc cleaner app ...

although instructions uninstall programs using os, best results when used cleaner app both uninstall , wipe items of programs needed operating. in case ...

 

-run cleaner app uninstall , remove traces of desktop cc app , prpro.

-download fresh copy of cc desktop app , install.

-from that, download & install prpro.

 

i had 3 programs conflicting saw of each other ... prpro, speedgrade, , cc desktop app. wiped three, started new download of d-top app, new copies of prpro & sg. took half hour , worked. oh ... reboot after you've uninstalled/deleted , before downloading cc desktop app start installs.

Error: 100600 Update failed, updates have been disabled by your system policy

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
