Is there an AE expression I can use to randomly exchange the positions of several equally sized layers?
hi, beginner in expressions in after effects, working on animation in have small grid of images (each 1 on separate layer) , have them randomly , exchange positions while staying within structure of grid. able use expression randomly turn them on , off additionally have them exchange positions. beyond capabilities. have suggestions on how expression?
if want them move randomly on grid could
1) apply wiggle expression them move randomly
2) bake wiggle expression keyframes
3) apply expression rounds position nearest grid position (which makes them jump 1 grid cell next one.
i similar in chapter 3 of video tutorial (in case using iexpressions instead of normal expressions):
