Can't add Constant Power effect to portion of audio?

why wouldn't able place constant power effect on piece of audio? keeps jumping audio clip next instead of clip want attached to. have 1 long song set in , out points for, , pulled points sequence along several other audio clips. song clips green , other audio clips blue. reason can't place constant power effect on of green sections, blue. ideas? thought maybe unlink each section of song each other, unlink option grayed out, can't.

constant power not effect, it's transition.  can placed @ head or tail of clip, or between 2 clips, not "on" clip.

 

where gets placed depends on playhead parked, , have selected.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
