Photoshop is changing colors of images

the first image original jpg straight camera , opened photo viewer. second image when open raw file in photoshop, unedited. third image when second image opened photoshop directly raw, no editing. , fourth image when same file saved jpg again no editing, no changes, saved. have no idea off colors, makes impossible edit correctly this. know going on? thanks!

color management basically:  images , devices have color characteristics, , these described color profiles, sometimes called color spaces.

 

1.  should not need use proof setup @ view images on monitor.  when things set photoshop shows accurate color without choosing view - proof colors.

 

2.  color-managed application photoshop try show accurate color on display interpreting both image profile , monitor profile , transforming colors accordingly.  by definition different other applications don't color-management these pump image rgb values directly out display.

 

thus:

 

• if monitor profile indicates monitor has wide gamut, images embedded profiles may appear less saturated inside photoshop non-color-managed apps.

 

• if view images have embedded wide gamut profile (such adobe rgb 1998 or prophoto rgb), photoshop , other color-managed applications interpret profile , colors appear more saturated in photoshop in non-color-managed application.

 

it sounds though first case applies in case here.

 

you can check see monitor profile associated monitor through os settings.
