What are aae files and how do I open them?

i uploaded pictures , videos iphone 5s pc , got lot of aae files couldn't open.  telling me didn't have permission open file though i'm administrator.  against here?

a simple google search tells are:

they appear ti new , news things compatibility other software hit , miss until adopt format. looks nothing more metadata files basically. not extendscript can really. trying script these?

Maximum number of authorizations reached!
