Retail Installment Contract Loan Calculations

hello everyone,

i have run issue calculating fields in fallible form documents, , hoping better can me out.

i trying calculate dollar amount of each payment in simple interest loan, , can create calculation in excel, formula not translating on dc.

here calculation:

(((annualpercentagerate/100)/12)*amountfinanced)/(1-((annualpercentagerate/100)/12))^-(num berofpayments)) = monthlypaymentamount

with following criteria, should reach monthlypaymentamount of $157.26.

the difference between formula have in excel , formula have in dc have apr preset @ .18 instead of 18/100.

for further reference:

i have fields set number format 2 decimal points (i getting format error when using percentage , dollars)
i have fields named without spaces
the current value given calculation "-1.96875"

any can provide appreciated.

did use custom calculation script this? if so, can post code? if not, should, complex simple notation option.
