How do I transfer Acrobat 9 Standard from on PC to another? I have the serial and key for the initially installed software. It was installed from download and I have NO CD.

my pc operating system crashed , not recover.  disc drive crash pc operates fine in external disc case.  want move adobe acrobat 9 standard old pc hard drive new pc. old operating system xp professional, new windows 7.  have original adobe acrobat 9 standard serial number , key.

 

after surfing these communities, downloaded trial copy of adobe 9 standard , tried install using serial number.  did not install , error boxed msg stated serial number invalid.  after trying several times, returned these community postings , pointed experience of others state ...the trial copies of adobe acrobat coupled installer meant use adobe acrobat 9 professional , since serial number attempting used not conform aa 9 pro numbering scheme, installation fails?

 

today attempted talk adobe tech phone line , wanted insert software packaget allowing them take on new pc... non starter.  after talking several "supervisors" given phone number adobe team naturally works current line of products.  so.... need direction... have enbedded adobe acrobat 9 work processes use , works fine... thrifty fellow , not want purchase new or different adobe acrobat sw because have yet find operational installer.  how off merry go round , software installed on new pc?

since have orignal acrobat 9 standard serial no., can download acrobat 9 standard setup using following link , install : https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-8-9-product-downloads.html

 

once installed, can use license key activate , use it.
