I want to write a script that swaps the sidecar file, how hard would this be?

i shoot lot of raw+jpeg, lr imports raw plus jpeg sidecar. importing them separate images not suit needs.

 

what i'd have keystroke @ disposal take selected raw+jpeg images , change them jpeg+raw (jpeg image raw sidecar).

 

another keystroke revert situation normal (raw file jpeg sidecar).

 

i can program java, c++, perl on sleep, never touched lua. how hard this? appreciate pointers on what's needed.

unfortunately, lr doesn't have ability import jpeg raw sidecar or swap roles of jpeg , raw once imported.

 

if describe more workflow , why having them separate images doesn't suit needs, might able suggest alternate means of getting same (or similar) end.

just installed acrobat 11.0.13 on windows 7 sp 1 ultimate 64-bit machine.  when try run, > check updates, error below.  happening on several machines.  in domain group policy not restrict updates.  have tried running acrobat "run administrator" , have tried running update service administrator.  no luck.     common acrobat nonsense, there not policy acrobat !!! just missing unnecessary adobe arm !!! this time when see stupid error message installer, not install updater as  !!! but avoid annoying offer update usefulness acrobat dc (ok adobe give try, respect effort, no more reader (sorry adobe !!!) remove complete adobe arm folder, acrobat not need , loose nothing of functionality !!! however paid acrobat xi pro , not need degradation it  dc !!!
